For us, coffee is connection. We love to create opportunities for connection while sharing good coffee.

One of my favourite parts of doing markets was sharing samples of our coffees to help people choose the one(s) they enjoy most. But when things got busy, I wasn't always able to answer everyone's questions, or get into a conversation about what makes specialty coffee special.

In our Coffee Tasting Experience, we're able to do just that – have a relaxing, casual conversation about specialty coffee, how it gets its different flavour profiles, how roasting affects the flavours, the difference in flavour as it cools... and answer your questions while tasting a variety of coffee flights.

Coffee flights are brewed using an AeroPress – a method that combines the full-bodied finish of a French press, the smoothness of a pour over, and an espresso-like richness.

This 2–hour session will introduce you to the world of specialty coffee. You will have an opportunity to:

• taste a flight of coffees from different origins
• taste the difference between various roast levels on one coffee
• try your hand at blending
• watch a sample–roasting demonstration
• compare our instant coffee vs. brewed, and decaf (can you identify which is which?)

This session can be customized based on your interest. Options may include:

• sampling different grind sizes
• how different measurements affect taste (ex. weight vs. volume)
• cold brew vs. flash chilled coffee
• specialty vs. commercial grade (ex. grocery store brands)
• other variations as indicated prior to the session
